HS Carlsteel was incorporated as a private limited company in 2005. We provide specialist sub-contracting services in the all areas of structural steelwork engineering within the built environment; these include the refurbishment of road, rail and marine structures and fabrication and erection of miscellaneous metalwork to heavy steel structures. We have an experienced management and technical team and dedicated resources with particular expertise in bridgeworks and strengthening of metallic and composite structures which also includes GRP and timber. Alongside our design partners, we undertake complex refurbishment and fabrication, temporary works installation to complex and bespoke structures offering practical and buildable solutions. Our priorities are based on safe delivery to the highest possible standards of workmanship and engineering which is reflected in our safety record and portfolio of impressive projects.

Bridges are an integral part of the UK`s infrastructure as our engineering heritage so proudly identifies. Structures designed and built by some of the most talented and gifted engineers such as Brunel, Telford, Darby, and Guppy to name a few….. cascades across the landscape providing connectivity, a safe passageway and aesthetic pleasure to the travelling community. We have a duty to protect and maintain these structures for future generations ahead.

HS Carlsteel`s core business is bridges, whether they are Grade II listed or less iconic structures, we consider that all these structures which carry road and rail transportation over land and water are important to the country`s infrastructure and growth.
